As a physician with experience supporting individuals living with developmental disabilities, I’m certain this tool will enhance health and quality of life. Even though I have known [my friend’s] daughter for many years, the Caregiving Guide provided me with helpful insight into her thoughts, needs, and actions. The background enabled me to better understand her daughter, and to act and respond appropriately so that she was comfortable, calm, and safe. The Caregiving Guide is an essential document for anyone responsible for a special person.
